Free benefits advice for West Sussex families
If you have a child or young person with special educational needs or disabilities, it’s worth checking you’re getting all the benefits you’re entitled to. The good news is there’s free help available. Funded by Aiming High and West Sussex County Council, Welfare Benefits Adviser Robert Hayes supports families across West Sussex. He says “Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Personal Independence Payments (PIP) are the main benefits I’m asked to help with – from making the claim, to acting as representative at a Social Security Tribunal Hearing. I offer different levels of help from telephone advice, email support and providing Fact Sheets.” For more info, call Robert on 03302 222569 or 07850 240874 or email robert.hayes@westsussex.gov.uk
